Teaching Triumphs
A bulletin board activity that gives teachers a dedicated space to share student breakthroughs, classroom wins, and proud moments.

A bulletin board activity that gives teachers a dedicated space to share student breakthroughs, classroom wins, and proud moments. Staff post cards with their wins, and leaders spotlight them regularly to keep the celebration going.
Why try it
Sharing classroom wins builds connection across the whole staff. A colleague's breakthrough can spark a fresh idea, offer a well-timed boost, or remind someone they're part of a team doing good work.
The board also gives you a steady, low-prep way to highlight positive stories throughout the year, whether in a staff meeting, a newsletter, or a quick hallway conversation.

Instructions
Set up the board
Pick a high-traffic spot: the staff lounge, a main hallway, or near the workroom. Use one of the printable header signs to title the board. Add a stack of printable cards nearby, each with a different sentence starter, so staff are ready to share their classroom celebrations right away.
Introduce it to staff
At a staff meeting or in your weekly newsletter, show the board and explain how it works. Share a few examples to give staff ideas for what to post.
Spotlight wins regularly
Rotate the board weekly or monthly. Read a card or two aloud at staff meetings, or drop a win into your newsletter.
Activity variations
Adapt to fit your school's vibe, budget, and setting.
Use it as a coaching tool
Use it as a coaching tool in your monthly team, department, or one-on-one meetings. Start the meeting by having staff fill out a prompt card, then use it as a jumping-off point for the conversation.
Try it as a Padlet wall
Set up a shared Padlet where staff can post wins any time, including photos. Works well for schools with limited hallway space or teams that are partially remote.
Create a Google Slides deck
Create a shared slide deck and give each teacher their own slide to add a success story each month. Display a few during staff meetings or link it in the newsletter.

Additional tips for running this resource.
Leader Tip #1
Swap the theme seasonally
Swap the header sign each season to give the board a fresh look without any extra work. The printable includes Fall Highlights, Winter Wins, Spring Successes, and Sweet Summer Wins.
Leader Tip #2
Meeting icebreaker
Use it as a staff meeting icebreaker: place cards on the tables before staff arrive and encourage everyone to fill one out. Aim for at least once a month to keep the board fresh.
Leader Tip #3
Include photos
Encourage staff to attach a photo of student work (with permission) or a classroom moment to their card. Photos make the board more personal and easier to stop and read.
Built by Educators, for School Leaders
