Staff Superpowers
One of the easiest teacher recognition ideas for building a proud, connected school culture.

A colorful, low-prep way to recognize the strengths your staff bring to school every day. Colleagues add stars to each other's names throughout the week, calling out specific strengths like collaboration, positivity, and going above and beyond.
Why try it
Give staff an easy, visible way to notice and name what a colleague does well. A shared board keeps that recognition going all week.

Instructions
Set up the display
Write each staff member's name on a card or piece of paper. Hang the names in the staff lounge, workroom, or office next to the included Staff Superpowers poster.
Stock the stars
Set out star stickers or markers in the five colors on the poster: pink, red, yellow, blue, and green. Each color represents a different strength, from listening and honesty to community connection and professional growth.
Kick it off and invite staff to join in
Add a few stars to names yourself to show staff how it works. Send the included email to let staff know where the board is and how to add stars, and encourage everyone to add stars to a colleague throughout the week.
