Choose an incentive
Pick one variation below that fits your team's size, budget, and personality.

Set the goal and announce it
Decide what counts, such as perfect attendance for the week, a team streak, or a staff-wide percentage. Share the goal and reward during a staff meeting or newsletter so everyone knows what they're working toward.

Celebrate when it's earned
Deliver the reward promptly and publicly, whether that's a spin of a prize wheel or a shoutout during announcements.

Pick-a-Perk passes
Staff with perfect attendance for the month draw a random perk card: leaving 10 minutes early, a jeans day token, a duty swap, choosing the staff playlist, or picking the next lounge treat. Add a "golden" card with a bigger prize like lunch delivery or a parking spot upgrade.
Attendance dare
Set a monthly attendance goal and celebrate hitting it with a playful dare for the principal, like singing the fight song, dressing as the mascot, or covering cafeteria duty.
Rotating award
Spotlight one staff member each month who consistently shows up and supports their team. Present a small certificate and pass along a traveling trophy or stuffed mascot for their desk.
Team streak tracker
Track attendance streaks by team on a hallway poster. The first team to hit 10 straight days with everyone present earns a treat basket, breakfast, or traveling trophy. Let teams name their streak for extra spirit.
Mystery Monday reveal
When the staff hits 95 percent attendance for the week, reveal a Monday surprise such as a candy cart, hot cocoa station, or coffee delivered by the principal. Let staff vote on the next surprise reward.
Spin-to-Win Fridays
Staff with perfect attendance for the week get a spin on a prize wheel each Friday, filled with snacks, coffee cards, duty coupons, or fun privileges. Add an "All In Jackpot" slot for a quarterly bonus prize.
Attendance tokens
