In Your Pocket Staff Activity
A fun team building activity for teachers with a scavenger hunt style game.

Turn the school day into a fun team building activity for teachers with a scavenger hunt style game. Staff carry picture cards and trade them with colleagues to be the last one holding an item when the day ends.
Why try it
Add some friendly competition and unplanned conversation to an ordinary day. Staff have to talk to colleagues they might not usually cross paths with, which builds connection across grade levels and departments.
Run it once as a special treat or repeat it every month with a new picture card for a simple team building tradition.

Instructions
Choose and distribute cards
Pick a picture card and print enough copies for 4-10 randomly selected staff members, depending on how many prizes you want to give out.
Explain the rules
Tell staff that if they hold a card, they should keep it with them all day. If they don't have one, they can ask a colleague, "Do you have a [item] in your pocket?" Anyone who is asked and has the item must hand it over.
Set the guardrails
Share the game reminders: no asking the same person back for at least 20 minutes, pass the card to another staff member before leaving the building, and keep the item itself instead of photocopying it.
Collect the winners
At the end of the day, staff bring any card still in their possession to the front office to claim a prize.
