Staff Joy Wall
A simple display where your team shares favorite books, shows, and feel-good picks.

Create a display wall where staff share the little things getting them through: favorite podcasts, books, shows, weekend plans, and more. It's a simple, visual way to spark connection and support staff wellbeing all month long.
Why try it
Give staff an easy, low-pressure way to share what's bringing them energy and joy right now. A shared display like this opens up conversation between staff who might not otherwise cross paths, and it gives everyone a quick reminder that they're part of a team.

Instructions
Choose your prompts
Pick the categories that will resonate most with your team from the included printables, such as "Podcasts I am listening to," "Books I am reading," or "A recent little win." Print and prep the headings for your display.
Set up the wall
Hang one piece of chart paper, poster, or giant sticky note under each printed heading on a bulletin board, hallway wall, or lounge space where staff can easily stop by and add their answers.
Invite your team
Let staff know the wall is up and where to find it. Invite them to add their answers under any heading whenever they'd like.
Activity variations
Adapt to fit your school's vibe, budget, and setting.
Staff meeting version
Print the headings and tape them up around the meeting room. Give staff 5-10 minutes to walk around, jot down their answers, and chat in small groups about what they shared.
Digital joy wall
Create a shared document or slideshow where staff can add their answers from their own devices, then display it on a screen in the staff lounge.
