
Mystery Mascot Hunt
A team building game that adds a bit of friendly competition.

Hide small school mascot cutouts around the building for staff to discover during their normal routines. Each cutout is worth points, and the staff member or team with the highest score by the end of the day wins.
Why try it
Turn ordinary hallways and shared spaces into a playful scavenger hunt that gets staff looking forward to their walk to class or trip to the lounge. It's an easy team building game for teachers that adds a bit of friendly competition without taking time away from the school day.
Things you'll need

Instructions
Hide the mascots
Before the day begins, hide the mascot cutouts around the building in spots staff will naturally pass, like hallways, the lounge, or the office. Optional: assign each cutout a point value between 1 and 5 based on difficulty to find.
Let staff search
Staff collect any mascots they spot during their normal routines throughout the day.
Tally and announce
At the end of the day, staff turn in the mascots they found. Tally the points and announce the staff member with the highest score.
Activity variations
Adapt to fit your school's vibe, budget, and setting.
Team-based hunt
Departments or grade levels pool their mascots together to reach the highest combined score.
Theme it to the season
Swap the mascot cutouts for seasonal icons, like pumpkins in October or hearts in February.
