Perfect Pairs Staff Activity
A staff meeting icebreaker where teammates match heart halves to find their partner.

Cut a set of hearts into two halves each, hand them out, and have staff mingle to find their match. Once paired, teammates trade answers to a fun icebreaker question. Use it as an all-day event or a quick staff meeting warm-up.
Why try it
Give staff an easy reason to talk to someone outside their usual circle. Matching heart halves turns a simple icebreaker into a small scavenger hunt, and the shared questions give pairs something fun to talk about once they find each other.
Instructions
Print and cut the hearts
Print enough hearts for your staff size, one heart per two people. Cut along the dotted lines to separate each pair, mixing them up so matches aren't obvious.
Hand out the halves
Give each staff member one half. For a meeting icebreaker, pass them out right before staff mingle. For an all-day version, distribute them at the start of the day.
Find the match and connect
Staff walk around comparing halves until they find their matching pair. Once paired, they pick one question from the included list and share their answers with each other.
Activity variations
Adapt to fit your school's vibe, budget, and setting.
All-day scavenger hunt
Run the activity across the whole day instead of a single meeting. Staff bring their completed pair to the front office to claim a small prize.
Speed rounds
After the first match, have staff swap their half with someone new every 20 seconds and repeat the activity for a few rounds.
